Billing
Is Lot really free?
Yes. Lot is free forever - no card required, no time limit. Upgrade only when you need more props, seats, or features.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Plans are month-to-month. Cancel any time and your plan stays active through the end of the period you've paid for.
Plans and limits
What happens if I reach my prop limit?
New prop creation is blocked. Existing props remain live. Upgrade to add more.
Can I downgrade my plan?
Yes, if your current usage fits the lower tier (prop count and team seats). Downgrade takes effect at the end of your billing period - no immediate feature loss.
What happens to my props if I downgrade below the limit?
Props above the new limit are hidden from renters but not deleted. They reappear immediately if you upgrade.
I own multiple warehouses - do I pay per warehouse?
Yes. Each warehouse has its own plan and billing surface, independent of your other warehouses.
Can I transfer a warehouse to someone else?
Yes, via the billing settings. The new owner enters their payment details before the transfer completes - no billing gap.
Are team seats per warehouse or per account?
Per warehouse. Each warehouse plan includes its own seat allowance and members are added at the warehouse level. Team seats (Unit, Crew and Agency) are separate from warehouse seats and apply to the team.
Can I limit what each member can do?
Yes, from Compound upwards: Owners grant Manager to delegate everything except billing and ownership, Members handle day-to-day operations, and Viewers see the data without changing it. Studio supports an Owner plus Members; Lot is a single Owner seat.
Support
What do business days and hours mean?
Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays. A ticket opened Friday evening is counted from Monday morning.
What's covered by the response-time target?
First response from our support team. Resolution time depends on the issue and isn't capped - feature requests and complex disputes can take longer than the first reply.
How is my ticket priority set?
Automatically by your plan. Estate gets the fastest response, then Compound and Agency, then Studio, Crew, and Producer, then Lot and free renters. A Unit team never lowers a member's own priority. There's no manual escalation; if you need a faster lane, upgrade your plan.
AI Shots
What are AI Shots?
Each photo fill and each Bulk catalog prop costs one Shot, spent only when you ask; tag suggestions and bio drafting are free. Shots reset on your billing cycle date, not calendar month. Shot Packs add extra capacity valid for 12 months.

No. Photo fills and Bulk catalog use Shots. Tag suggestions and bio drafting are free on every plan.
What is bulk catalog creation?
Upload a ZIP of prop images and WareRent's AI creates a new prop for each image - generating title, description, category, and tags in one batch. Available on Compound and Estate. Each created prop costs one Shot.
What happens to unused AI Shots if I downgrade?
Shots from your monthly allowance don't carry over and are forfeited at the downgrade. Shot Packs you bought separately stay valid for 12 months from purchase regardless of plan changes.
Features
What is the Partner badge?
A trust mark shown on your warehouse profile, automatically granted to every paid plan from Studio upward. Renters can filter search to Partner warehouses only - so paying for Studio puts your warehouse in front of the renters who care most about commitment and quality.
Do I have to apply for the Partner badge?
No - it's part of the plan. The badge appears the moment your Studio, Compound, or Estate subscription is active and disappears if you downgrade to Lot.
What are prop transfers?
Transfer a prop's custody, ownership, or both to another warehouse. The owner initiates each transfer and the destination warehouse accepts or declines. When custody and ownership split, the prop shows an 'Operated by · Owned by' line on its public profile, so renters always see who's holding it and who owns it.
Do prop transfers count against my prop limit?
Yes, every prop you own or host counts toward your plan's limit, so a hosted prop uses one slot in each warehouse. A Studio (300 props) hosting 100 partner props has 200 slots left for its own catalog. Prop transfers are included on every plan, no upgrade required.
